The DirectX settings default to auto, so I assume that with the card upgrade it automatically selected DX11, I tried selecting DX10 and it seems to have solved the issue, seems to not like DX11. I'm hoping this is a known problem... if so hopefully the next drivers will fix it.

Jan 31, 2010 · 5850 does support DX11 and all the included features. You're experiencing what is called a software conflict. You can use the search here on the forum and look at the first thread about the Heaven benchmark and look at screen shots of 5850 owners posting their DX11 results.

Oct 01, 2010 · The IGP inside SB does not support DX11. I am sure they have their reasons. I assume they are not going after the high end Dx11 market with these chips. And I am confident IB will be DX11. The SB CPU itself naturally does (with a DX capable graphics card). I think that is what you were asking.

Aug 29, 2014 · How could it not support it if its installed and my current version? That doesn't make sense. The OS supports DX11 but the HD3000 card is not. If you go to run and type dxdiag and then look on the Display page,look for DDI version. This tells you what dx the machine is running.
