Mar 16, 2010 · The wireless router I bought to set up as a bridge is a 'Belkin G Wireless router', model #: F5D7234-4 v1. From looking at the user manual and other forums, this router does not appear to support WDS and is not supported by 3rd party firmware (at least dd-wrt) which might otherwise give it an option for a repeater mode.

The wireless bridge function is no longer available. All recent versions of the Belkin F5D7230-4 router (version 7000 and above) no longer support this function although I cannot find any announcement on the Belkin website. Check the version number on the outside of the package.

Jan 19, 2006 · The only place I've seen WDS (Wireless Distribution System) is on the setup page for 'Wireless Bridge.' And all this does is permit, or not permit, a Belkin Wireless Bridge or Range Extender to connect wirelessly to the first router.
