I was extremely disappointed when I found out that the pb does not support ad hoc networks. I tried using the barnacle wifi app, wifi tether, and neither of them worked.

Feb 17, 2010 · Or have the people that have it working all using bluetooth? I'd much rather use wifi tethering if I can, tried all the steps listed all over here and no luck so far. I connect my laptop via wifi so it would be nice to just leave my phone and be able to toggle on/off tethering wthout changing from bluetooth to wifi all the time.
