May 02, 2008 · Blu-ray does not have either 25p or 30p as one of it's supported video rates. However, that does not mean it cannot play them, you simply have to encode them as 50i or 60i. This also implies that the player, or your TV if it only takes 1080i, has to be able to correctly de-interlace those signals and create a correct 25p/30p image.

May 13, 2015 · Also, I think that Blu-ray doesn't support 1080/60p.) It is possible to create a data DVD (not a video DVD) that contains 1080i or 1080p video files that will then play in a computer with a DVD or Blu-ray drive, but such disks will not work in a stand-alone DVD or Blu-ray player. Because of these hassles and limitations, I no longer produce DVDs.

Jul 07, 2011 · That's correct, but could you use 1080i50 instead of 108050i, which is unreadable and nonstandard? Shame on me (well, aside from taking too much space to say a little, as usual) for forgetting to address PAL Blu-Ray - from what I can tell, some players and televisions support 60fps video, so actually 1080p60 is your best bet - if the stars align and you have the newest equipment.

Nov 20, 2006 · General Discussion: Both Formats - Blu-ray and HD DVD 24p - I am interested to know about the 24p encoding on both Blu-ray and HD DVD. Below is a quote I found on Wikipedia. Both HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc support the 24p (traditional movie) frame rate, but technical implementations of this mode are different among the

Interlaced (AVCHD) footage - Hitfilm - Blu-Ray 50i ...

The blu-ray standard doesn't support 25p. Ignoring interlaced video or suggesting that is inferior is a common misunderstanding. I am still experimenting with the workflow : source files with interlaced (50i) video --> Hitfilm (can only work with progessive video) --> export to compliant bluy-ray disc (50i video).

Mar 18, 2013 · I have been shooting all my footage at 25p on mk MK3 but when watching my movies back on a Blu-ray player the sliding shots are awful, they appear to be missing a frame and jumpy, not smooth at all. Any pan movement just looks like jumpy. I export my movies from FCPX as Master File Pro Res 422, then import them Encore. I choose Automatic with ...

Jan 03, 2009 · First of all, I use Pinnacle Studio 12 for making movies. Does Pinnacle support both 50i and 25p for making Blu-ray discs? How can I see in Pinnacle whether a scene is 25p or 50i, or do I have to indicate which format is used? Is it possible to make a …

Does Bluray support SD Progressive? - VideoHelp Forum

May 01, 2014 · Presumably, I don't think a blu ray player would check every title, determine which are interlaced and which aren't, then spit the dummy if they're not all the same. A lot of Blu rays have a HD main feature and mixed HD/SD special features.

50/60P 1920X1080 Blu-ray Now Supported

Jan 03, 2015 · FYI - I passed the info on the "new" header values to the the Developer of LAV Filters and these disks now play. So it looks like you will only need my patcher if your player does not support the 240 headers for CLPI/MPLS and you are unable to update it, eg for SW/HW that is no longer being developed/supported (eg TMT, BDEdit, some HW players).
