That worked immediately, and we seem to have gained a bit of extra speed. Well the light on the router is still orange and still no feedback from BT about what i's going on. Any information would helpful but maybe I'm expecting too much from BT. Why should BT care about whether I have broadband or not even though I pay nearly £60pm for service that should guarantee me 100mbps down load and 10mbps upload.

May 07, 2017 · Why does broadband (PPPoE) connection automatically get disconnected? I'm connecting to a Local Area Network that requires creating a broadband ( PPPoE ) connection in order to have access to the internet , the problem is the Broadband connection gets instantly disconnected once there is no more internet activity is occurring.
