BT home hub 3 - Connecting using wps My laptop has windows vista sp2 on it. I connected the home hub to the mains supply and found the access point in the list when you go to add a connection.

I wanted to connect things to my new bt home hub 3 using the WPS feature. I have discovered that BT have disabled this feature due to a 'technical problem'. I was just wonderig why they did this and if/when it will come back. Any information on this matter is greatly appreciated.

BT have turned WPS back with the latest firmware. There is a post on these forums were they assure us that they would not be doing this if there were any security concerns in switching this back on. -+-No longer a forum member-+-

by-BT/td-p/776140 WPS no longer gets disabled by BT on ‎13-02-2013 We recently started to switch on the WPS functionality on our Hub 3's. It is being rolled out over the next few months so some hubs have had this enabled already but it will take a while to have this rolled out across all hub 3.0s.

Hub 3 does not support DECT and is not compatible with BT hub phones. BT Home Hub only works with a BT Broadband service. It cannot be used with another ISP. Please note, the BT Home Hub 3 does not support the Broadband Talk service.
