With a BT Home Hub 2.0 ... the home hub 2 doesnt have WDS and the home hub 3 has WDS but has been disabled in the firmware by BT. Everything kicked in perfectly after that setting was disabled on the TP Link Extender. No need to change DHCP or anything else! ... Home Hub 4 and TP-Link WA850RE Extender Go to solution.

I'm new to the UK and to BT so I'm unsure of model numbers and features etc. I have an exisiting Apple Time Capsule and just signed up to BT business. I have a "hub 3" (while I don't think that's the model number, I can't find one anywhere). I've set my TC up to extend an exisiting network. But this will only work if my BT hub supports WDS.
