Dec 11, 2008 · 7942G and 3550 PoE. I have a bunch of 7942G that need to connect to access switch 3550 power, the problem is that looks like the 7942G are not getting sufficient power. The phone blinks like is going to boot up but just keeps resetting the power connection and does not come up. However, if I connect the phone to a Cisco 3750 the phone does power up.
