May 13, 2016 · Doom Controller Support? Hey guys, I'm a bit confused as to wether or not this game supports controllers. It has a Controllers option in the menu, but it's greyed out even though I'm using the Steam Controller.

If your deciding to be come a PC gamer why waste your money on a controller? Seriously, I' am a PC gamer and I've never used any controller to use for a game. If you already have a 360 or PS3 controller fine. But to buy one just because you don't like to use the M&KB then stick with consoles.

This is because the author of RBJoy switched to a direct input method in the latest version.. The older version, 5.4, does not use this method, and works perfectly with Doom 3.
