Jul 06, 2010 · The DSTT is better because it supports SDHC, it gets compatibility updates every once in a while, and it's cheap. The R4 is tremendously overpriced, doesn't support SDHC, and if a newer game isn't compatible with the R4 you're pretty much screwed since it doesn't receive regular updates.
