Nvidia GTX 260 supports directx 11. I have downloaded GPU-Z to check specs more accurate for my video card NVIDIA GTX 260 and it says that it support directx 11. Note this is not the directX of the windows, not checking with dxdiag.

There is a habit of associating DirectX versions with the hardware features they were the first to support, which is why you may hear that the GTX 260 is a 'DirectX 10' card.

Feb 10, 2015 · A geforce 260 is fine, DirectX 11 is just a super set of DirectX 10. It's even on the store page that a Geforce 260 is the minimum card required. Pretty much every DirectX 11 game is DirectX 10 compatible, the primary reason some games don't list DirectX 10 video cards is because they simply aren't powerful enough.

So far Dell support is virtually useless. Even with at least 7 tech support phone calls and the following hardware replaced: Motherboard, video cards, hard drive, batter, AC adapter, LCD screen, RAM I still have the problem. Feb 02, 2010 · For the price of nVidia GTX 260 you could have purchased the ATi 5770 which gives same performance as GTX 260 and also has got DirectX 11. You should always do some market research before purchasing a card. Your card won't support more than DX10. And some one said the difference between DX10 and Dx11 is not that much.
