Apr 01, 2013 · GTA IV on Windows 8 Pro. I installed GTA IV on my PC and it won't run on Windows 8 Pro. It says Seculauncher: Failed to start the application [2000]. I tried to run it in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP3, Windows Vista SP2 and Windows 7 but I have the same problem.

Then a window pops up saying Grand Theft Auto IV has stopped working, and that Windows is looking for a solution to the problem.
