Jul 10, 2017 · I have the IDT sound chip as well as amd hd (hdmi) audio, the amd driver was not affected as far as I can tell. The IDT basic windows 10 driver did work when switching from speakers to external sound when plugged in. Yes, IDT has been bought out and no longer supplies drivers any longer, but the OEM may still provide a full IDT driver.
