Aug 07, 2016 · Below is a list of the settings that can be changed to make a Xbox 360 controller attached to a PC, function better with Oblivion. It should be noted however, that because the PC version of the game was optimized to play with a keyboard and mouse, the experience will NOT be the same, as using a 360 controller on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

Jul 07, 2016 · Despite the Console-Friendly interface, Oblivion was still a PC game ported to consoles rather than the other way around like 99% of AAA games today, including Bethesdas. As a result, it doesn't have native Xinput support. That's why even if you do use the limited controller support in oblivion, you won't get any of the expected button prompts.

Mar 30, 2008 · Google "Redcloud Xbox 360 controller drivers" - Oblivion doesn't properly support controllers like I said before.. Use the "Pinnacle Game Profiler" I linked you. It allows you to use any controller with ANY game. - I've played Oblivion on PC/360/PS3 and the PC version owns the console versions in every conceivable way.
