PORTAL 2 with controller not working I was trying to play PORTAL 2 (single player) with my XBOX ONE controller, and I could navigate the menus and everything. But when I actually entered the gameplay , I could not move around or look or anything.

Jun 12, 2014 · I really want to know why anyone would use a controller in portal 2 Played the PS3 version before the PC. Controller works fine in that respect. Many people prefer controllers over mice/keyboard; they're easier to use if you're used to them, and can provide better reaction times if you're more attuned to that sort of playstyle.

I know your reason for using a controller, but the PC version was much easier to do those difficult challenges in portal 1, I had a hell of a time trying to get all gold in Portal 1 on xbox 360 with the controller. Not many people even attempted those extra goodies for xbox360. Just sayin.

May 30, 2011 · And hell, it's Portal 2, you don't need quick movements and pixel accuracy. I beat the game with a 360 controller and it played wonderfully. So yeah, 360 controller is the best for gaming on a Mac, looks like most (all?) of Valve's games support the 360 controller natively, without 3rd party drivers, though those are available for other games.
