Jun 28, 2016 · but if I'm understanding this right, I have been neglecting learning Pygame ONLY because I based my facts on a neglected website and misinformation that led me to believe that Pygame would not run in Python 3 on Linux? Correct. The official pygame website is a disgrace. Pygame works perfectly fine on both python 2 and 3 on Windows and Linux.
