Dec 01, 2016 · I got an Oculus Rift for X-Mas and I'm at my dad's place trying to get it to work while I'm home. Admittedly his GPU doesn't meet the minimum specs, but I was able to get Oculus setup, enter the home screen, and install several experiences. However, when I launch any of them, I get the error: DX11 Feature Set 10.0 Required to Run Engine.

As you can see, framerates are very low compared to the performance I get in BF1: Also DX12 in BFV seems to have a problem with frame rate dips versus BF1 run on the same machine and drivers. I am looking forward to testing BFV on DX11 Crossfire / DX12 MultiGPU with R9 Fury X/ Nano.

Nov 08, 2017 · But there are some games, out there that have dropped Mac support and are dropping XP support, Dropping DX9 support. It just seems like they are focusing on Vista + Above, and the VM Guests that cannot handle DX11 are being left behind.

Game engines need some big fundamental changes to use Dx12/Vulkan efficiently (a slapped dx12 "support" will give you zero benefits and may even degrade performance, so the logo alone means nothing). Even Nvidia's and AMD's VR SDKs are currently only for DX11/OpenGL and not for Dx12…
