Dec 06, 2016 · I am trying to open .rtf wiles with images in them using Pages and it looks like pages does not properly parse the images. It will load everything else, but skips the images. I open the file using Microsoft Word and it looks perfect. This is a rather important feature for us as we generate rtf files for reports and the like.

Jul 22, 2006 · DMan1 seems to understand my problem. The rotated text is embedded into the RTF file as an image, appearing in the code as "SHAPE \*MERGEFORMAT". The actual text line that has been rotated does not appear, so I cannot do a search or replace on the rotated text within the RTF file.
