They currently use VNC quite regularly (to work from home, foreign work-related trips), and the impression I get is that an SBS domain would pretty much involve switching to Remote Web Workplace.

Server 2008 is currently in "extended support" -- Mainstream Support ended last year. Exchange 2007 is also in Extended Support but that ends next April. After which the entire server will be fully unsupported if Exchange 2007 Remains. Are you saying that if I migrate them to hosted exchange. they can sit on SBS until 2020 ?
