Madmenno, my Simcity 4 did not automatically stretch to widescreen. It had ugly black bars on both sides of my screen instead. I would like to know how to change the computer screen setting so the image automatically stretch to full widescreen. Since I had other games with the same problems.

Jul 14, 2013 · (solved) widescreen fix doesn´t work! ~ it seems only to work in window mode ... added -w in start parameters. working now :/ ~ try everything, with desktop and the start parameters in the steam lib. nothing works!

Mar 07, 2017 · the other solution would be to get the game to run in a resolution appropriate for a widescreen, like said above add it to the command options, and chose a widescreen resolution like 1280x720 or 1920x1080. that will make the game render a widescreen output that will then fit to your widescreen monitor without distortion.
