The whole point of Steam Cloud is to store your saves in case you want to play on a different computer. But because synchronisation was on by default, and I didn't even know of Steam Cloud's existence, I didn't turn it off, so it kept uploading saves until it was full.

If you have enabled cloud saves in Steam, the old saves are downloaded automatically when the Skyrim SE launcher is loaded and visible on the "Load" screen. I used different character names for SE versus Oldrym, and I can pull up my long lost saves from cloud services.

Jan 19, 2013 · Steam's Cloud save is laughably limited as well. If you open Skyrim's properties and go to the Updates tab, you'll see that you only have 100MB of space. Given the size of Skyrim's save files, that's around 20 saves at most, maybe six or seven "advanced" save files (which hover around 15MB in size), minus the four that autosaves and quicksaves will hog up.

While STEAM Cloud is great for other games [save file around 100-500 kb]; for Skyrim it is just absurd. Personally, I would just disable Cloud for SKyrim; as Cloud is only needed if you plan on having multiple computers to play the same game on.

Dec 22, 2016 · So I recently decided to transfer my Skyrim saves to SE! However, when I went to do so, I found that I don't have a save folder for either Skyrim. The only way this could possibly work, I think, is that Steam saved my saves on the cloud. So I went to properties, and sure enough the game has saves on the cloud.

However, the vast majority of Steam Cloud - supporting games, at least from my experience, will sync both saves and user preferences. In fact, I haven't heard of any instance where only preferences were synced to the Steam Cloud, except multiplayer games without local save files. Feb 24, 2016 · The game is SWTOR. It doesn't show an option under updates, but SWTOR II does. It's like i'll have to do things the old fashion way. Yeah, seems that while SWTOR doesn't support Steam Cloud (I don't see the box on my end either); SWTOR II does (as far as it's Store page is to go by.)

yw. just make sure you right click on the game and select properties then select updates and make sure the check box is checked that enables steam clou saves at the bottom of the tab. go into your game and save a game then exit, it should upload the saves to the cloud.
