Jun 16, 2014 · I thought Untangle 10 had brought PPPoE support up to parity with the other interface types, but the only thing actually spelled out in the 10.0 changelog is: "PPPoE support is improved with the goal of eventually having full functionality for PPPoE interfaces such as QoS, WAN Failover, and WAN Balancer with PPPoE interfaces."

May 16, 2011 · When checked, Untangle treats that interface as a wan. Both the balancer and failover page have config options and policies to set, such as when to failover, what is primary, secondary, ect. To setup the a record hostname, go to config>administration what your looking for is in there. You can use any dns service that does failover monitoring.
