Nov 02, 2014 · Have just installed the Technical Preview in a Windows 8 x64 machine on Fusion 7. The VMware Tools wouldn't install from the menu-bar link, so I had to go into the VMware app package, get the Windows.iso and mount it as a CD/DVD drive. Once VMware Tools was installed I was able to resize the desktop to fit my native resolution.

If you are logged in under a roaming user profile you can select to mirror folders in VMware Fusion, but no mirroring takes place. VMware Fusion does not display an alert when this happens.
