So I'm left with no way to run my VHD in Windows Server 2008 R2. I'm back using the free VMWare Server 2.x - I like Virtual PC 2007, Windows Virtual PC and Hyper-V better, but you leave me no choice. By the way, if I cannot use VHDs in my development environment, I will not recommend we use them in our Production environment.

Sep 19, 2011 · I can connect with telnet to 22 (sshd port). Firewall is disabled, the server not in domain. I can connect from 1 VM to 2 VM (with ssh). I feeling that problems in Windows server 2008 R2 policies, because i have the same solutions on Windows Server 2008 and 2003, and there are no errors with putty there. Maybe anyone know how to solve that problem.

May 12, 2009 · Hyper-V works well (yes, my system does support it), I have been running the currently available 64 bit Server 2008 with Virtual Server with no problems for quite a while. I can't move to R2 unless this is addressed. Is there going to be an update for the Virtual Server product to run on Windows Server 2008 Release 2 and Windows 7?
