Jan 02, 2014 · Windows Home Server 2011 does not use domains, so even if you had Windows 8.1 Pro, you'd still be left without a solution. I have one PC with Windows 8.1 Enterprise and that does work with Home Server; and a laptop with Windows 7 Pro and that works fine too. Like you, I have issues with Windows 8.1 Pro.
