Feb 16, 2010 · It would seem odd to me that any +R drive wouldn't support bitsetting, as that is one of the built in advantages +R has over -R. It's in the +R spec. 5 posts

Mar 22, 2008 · Most drives support bitsetting of some kind now days. In Nero when selecting the drive you can change the default from "Automatic" to whichever setting you'd like for example to DVD-ROM. This is what I was after.
