So double clicking the where phone present file finds all records before the user enters a name, not what I want. I want dsquery to start with filter=x and allow the user to enter search critera, then perform the search.

    Mar 25, 2009 · I say that computer won't show up on the query "dsquery computer -inactive 4". Because even though nobody has logged onto it, the computer has been present on the network. It (the physical machine) has logged onto the domain and probably has even changed its password in the last 4 weeks.
