Mar 31, 2017 · Bitstreaming enables getting direct audio off the discs, this would allow for HD audio formats, like DTS-X, DTS-HD, Dolby Atmos, and TrueHD. A $320 4K Blu-ray drive supports this, but, the Xbox one "S does not support Bitstreaming, meaning you WONT get HD audio formats, just the down mixed DTS or DD sound tracks.

Mar 29, 2014 · Another important thing to note here is that it is VERY likely that your actual problem (assuming all your hardware CAN support DTS-HD MA) is the driver for your audio chipset. If you have an Intel audio chipset this is a known problem and you need the very latest HD Audio chipset driver to correct DTS-HD bitstreaming issues.

DTS-HD Master Audio is an extension of DTS' previous DTS Coherent Acoustics codec. Prior to 2004, it had been known as DTS++. Though it is an optional audio format for Blu-ray Disc format, by 2010, it had become the dominant Blu-ray lossless audio format over its competitor Dolby TrueHD.

Nov 17, 2015 · Well, for one thing HD audio pass-through will not be coming to Kodi 16 (Jarvis), it won't be implemented until at least v17. Second thing, Archos isn't down converting DTS-HD to DTS, it's just playing the DTS core. Now, with that said have you tried playing your files with the native video player?
