Many applications do not yet support pulseaudio, and therefore do not work correctly, or prevent other applications from being able to use sound on these distributions which are using pulseaudio. On Ubuntu 8.04, I have noticed that Ekiga uses 100% CPU when making calls. Could this be a problem with Ekiga’s use of (or non-use) of pulse audio?
