Nov 01, 2018 · (Related to 5.1 surround not working, I presume) I am using a Logitech Z906 5.1 Surround system, with Green/Orange/Black plugs to my MSI Z77A-G45 Motherboard inputs. Currently, when I play music, sound comes from all 4 front/side speakers (mirrored), and I have sub bass, but no center channel audio at all.

The HP website claims the 510-a010 has 5.1 channel audio. I have a logitech z506 system properly connected to the 3 jacks in the rear panel. All I can get is stereo. I think I need to reconfigure the back panel jacks but do not know how. Have tried several drivers - current version is 6.0.1.767...

Feb 09, 2013 · Now, my Samsung surround sound is hooked up to my TV and other things like my PS3/Blu Ray Player, Xbox 360, heck even my old Playstation 2 can output 5.1 surround sound just fine, and it works perfectly with all of those other devices, so it seems so strange to me a modern PC running windows 8 pro cant output 5.1 surround over a HDMI connection ...
