Dec 17, 2019 · Our current issue/doubt is concerning activation for hundreds of Windows 2012 R2 VMs hosted on ESXi 6.0 hosts (soon 6.5 or 6.7). As I researched further, we have 2 options: 1. Buy DataCenter license for all ESXi hosts and get unlimited VMs automatically activated. Also, vMotion should be successful among all ESXi hosts.
