The mission of the Down Syndrome Diagnosis Network is to support families with current information and real-life accounts of life with Down syndrome during the prenatal to early childhood phases. Lettercase provides families with a downloadable booklet to assist parents whose child has recently received a new Down syndrome diagnosis, titled “Understanding a Down Syndrome Diagnosis.”
This book shares the journeys of seven families that were blessed with children born with Down syndrome. Through our stories, maybe we can help change the outcome for those parents put in a pivotal situation. Latest reports state the termination rate after receiving a positive diagnosis for Down syndrome is around 90%. This must change.

The DSAJ is the only agency in the northeast Florida and southeast Georgia area that assists families of those with Down syndrome from prenatal diagnosis, early intervention, the school-aged years, and throughout adulthood.
