Jul 20, 2011 · my car's lumbar support will randomly inflate all by itself when starting the car. I'd say it does it 1 out of every 4 or 5 times. so it doesn't happen all the time and never does so when I want the dealer to see it happening. usually I cannot feel it inflating, its more that I get into the car and find the lumbar already inflated.

Very easy to do and the part numbers from the previous postings are correct. The plastic "frame" on mine was broken, the motor was still working. Feb 28, 2010 · The twist lumbar support is like a cable or screw style, when you turn it it goes in or out. The one end is attached to the seat frame and the other end attaches to the seat back frame. You'll have to check the end in the seat back, you will have to pull the back-off then pull the foam off the frame then your'll see how it works.
