Will the GE Force FX5200 support that resolution? When I look at the Nvidia Settings, the resolution goes up only to 1280 x 960 (I currently use 1024 x 768). I don't know if the resolutions showing are what the GE Force FX5200 will support or what my current monitor is capable of.

Dec 03, 2008 · I have selected the correct resolution and all it does is make the screen unusuable. I have loaded 8 of these cards all with the same issue. New drivers are not recommended for this card. The newest you should use it the 93.71. Please notice that there are different kinds of FX 5200, so some may support this resolution while others not.

When I had the VX922 hooked up to the FX5200, at 60MHz it gave me a max resolution of 1280x1024, the native resolution of the VX922. When I hooked it up to the new VX2235wm, at 60MHz, it then showed 1680x1050 as the max resolution. That was the native resolution for that monitor.

Oct 22, 2009 · Perhaps someone here can help me find a suitable driver for this card (Nvidia GeForce FX 5200) for use in Windows 7. It seems that neither Microsoft or Nvidia are going to support this card for Windows 7. Mine is a Zotac model so I don't know if this makes a difference. I am presently using this driver: 19062_win7x32.exe
