May 28, 2008 · In trying to install Logic Studio I have come up against a problem of not having a quartz extreme enabled graphics card. To fix this I bought a ATI Radeon 9600 Pro AGP card, which claims to support Quartz Extreme. However, after installing it yesterday evening my system profiler is telling me that the card does not support Quartz Extreme.

Mar 12, 2006 · Apple has choosen not to enable Quartz 2D Extreme for a good reason and that is because it currently does not provide any significant performance advantage and in some cases actually might be slower. Hopefully, Apple will fix whatever is wrong with Quartz 2D Extreme in 10.5 (Leopard).

Jul 19, 2012 · Hi, i'm new and i have installed in VirtualBox Windows 8 RP , Ubuntu 12.04 LTS and Mac OS X 10.7.4 Lion. On Lion i haven't iLife '11 pre-installed, so i download it from a torrent. iLife work, but when i try to open iMovie, there's a message: "Quartz Extreme needed. iMovie need your graphic card support Quart Extreme." The problem is ugual for Camtasia, how can I do for resove this problem?
