Aug 12, 2014 · This is unfortunate, because ipv6 is much faster and efficient. It also does not suffer from slowdown as the network grows like ipv4. Sure you can use switching and vlans to relieve network congestion, but ipv6 takes care of this on its own. Even if your part of your network doesn't support ipv4, you can still encapsulate ipv6 traffic if need be.
