Mar 20, 2015 · It works for support frigates and repair corvettes. You are on the right track here, I'm gonna make your advice a tiny bit more usable. Select the ships you want repairfunctionality on, add any number of collectors (hw2) or support vettes/frigs(hw1). Assign a strikegroup to this group of units.

Support frigates got nerfed so bad by how repairs need to work in Homeworld 2 :'(Right, little attention was given to the fact that reapiring in HW2 was done by the tiny resource collectors which could easily slip into formations and attach for repair. Support frigs have no such chance,. - but the heal wasn't given enough range to compensate. #8

Feb 25, 2015 · yes, they will dock with support ships, but you used to be able to tell a support frigate to repair, say, a salvage corvette that was salvaging an enemy ship, using its green beam of love. Similarly, support frigates used to just use their healing beam on any ship that was damaged in their formation.
