Nov 09, 2011 · CTxAdmTools provide a handy tool for removing HP’s Proliant Support pack. I’ve used it on a number of occasions typically when P2V’ing HP servers, and it’s a great time saver. Once the server is virtualized you’ll want to remove the PSP as it may cause issues further down the line and it’s simply software and drivers that you won’t need on the system any more.

Jul 19, 2007 · Guillermo Musumeci over at CtxAdmTools has written a useful sounding utility called the ‘HP Proliant Support Pack Cleaner’ which will remove all the HP Proliant Support Pack (PSP) from a freshly P2V’ed server. I like the sound of it though at the time of writing this haven’t used it yet so can’t confirm how well it works.
