Re: Invalid Support Packs in Version Control Repository If the mnf files are not created for a particular component, the support which contains that component will be marked as invalid by VCRM. Browse to VCRM catalog tab, give the option for rescanning the repository.

Re: ProLiant Support Pack Install Basically, any valid HP support file you throw in there, including firmware, will be seen by the VCRM. So, just download the lastest HP support pack (8.0) and throw it in that directory (I recommend a seperate sub-dir for each Support Pack - it will parse sub-dirs).
