Sep 30, 2009 · Previously I used XP, and successfully managed a Web site with ActiveX controls to render and update pages. Now, I get the message "your browser can not download the activeX control" What can I do to enable ActiveX controls? I have tried various security settings to make this a trusted site and enable unsigned controls, but nothing works.

Jun 07, 2016 · Hi Stunpals, I believe the issue lies with your browser rather than office. I can't decipher if you're using the 32-bit version of IE from you post. Be sure you're using that version. If that doesn't solve your problem, check the active x controls in your internet options.
