Nov 17, 2017 · Unfortunately, yes... The iPad 2 is no longer supported by Apple. The iPad 2 is stuck at version 9.3.5, and won't get any more major updates. Apple dropped support for the A5 and A5X chips with iOS 10, therefore dropping support with the iPad 2.
