Until recently I was strong proponent of using read-write filesystem on embedded devices (company develops IPTV set-top box software) and devices we do support use either jffs2 or UBIFS, depending on what hardware/chipset vendor provides.

A JFFS2 support for DiskOnChip devices, based on the NAND code, is planned. There are some other Open Source projects for NAND filesystem support, but there's no other working solution than JFFS, YAFFS, and UBIFS at the moment of this writing.

Hi, I want to use jffs2 file system on AM335x EVM for evaluation . I am able to load spl and u-boot .Linux flashing is also successful. But for flashing jffs2 i want to switch ECC scheme to hamming .But nandecc command is no more supported in latest SDK.
