Jul 23, 2012 · Anyway, thanks for the tip for rpmforge package k3b-extras, that seems to have installed a lot of codecs for k3b, and it now at least accepts mp3 files to add to a sound CD. I'll try burning one soon.

I've installed fedora for the first time. I wanted to burn an audio CD from wav files, and I was quite surprised, that it apparently doesn't support this basic format. I wasn't only unable to burn an audio CD (tried K3b, brasero), but I also couldn't play the audio files with anything.
