F.Y.I. Linux does have an app for Unifying receivers and it's called 'Solaar'. I use it to setup all my logitech devices, and even to pair multiple devices to one receiver. If you're on ubuntu you can apt-get install it, and I believe you can get the tar for other distro's. gives full control of function/hotkeys etc. 0

Logitech has continued to disregard this growing market and does not offer Linux drivers for their peripherals. This severely limits the features that can be used with Logitech Mice, Keyboards, and other controllers. For example, Logitech Options software is not available for Linux distributions.

The MX Master 3 is advertised as supporting LInux (for instance, on the box) but some features seem to require the Logitech Options software for which I do not see a Linux option. It seems odd to me to advertise Linux support and then have support software that's only available on Windows and MacOS. Is there an alternative?

Hi Logitech, I am pondering the purchase of a Master MX S2 mouse, though my current OS is Ubuntu Linux. Any update on native drivers being released in the future ? Linux distributions such as Ubuntu are very productive environments and it would be good if your productivity products would support Linux.

Linux support for just-released Logitech MX Master 3 Mouse ...

The Bluetooth and USB HID standards provide the support so Logitech haven't done anything special to support Linux as modern Linux distros already support HID devices. In the case of configurable peripherals like the gaming mice and keyboards Logitech don't actually provide configuration tools for Linux so in my eyes Logitech even though they print "Linux" on the box are not officially providing support for Linux.
