Jul 21, 2018 · I haven't heard that they have 802.11ax support. 802.11ac and 802.11ax use the same channel space (well, to be more correct, 802.11ac is 5GHz but is usually implemented with a parallel 802.11n 2.4GHz implementation). 802.11ax is also both 5GHz and 2.4GHz and is just able to use that better. 802.11ac clients should benefit in an 802.11ax network.. They're backwards compat

Feb 21, 2019 · I'm Just pointing out we won't need IPX adapters to make a different MacBook Pro card to work with our MacBook pro's when we can use the iMac's card. We're all stuck untill someone can recreate that PCB. The card I'm talking about is the bcm943602cdp which has the larger IPX connectors. We use them in the Mac Pro.

Oct 25, 2013 · So Tom, you seem to be saying that the 802.11ac airport card from the latest Macbook Pro is available on Taobao for $15 (and should work in the previous, late 2012/early 2013 model - I have an A1398), but the link you provided is for the Macbook Air card, which you say is not the same. ? Could you please post a link to the Pro card?
