Aug 31, 2013 · The reason you can't find a Marvell driver on the Intel support page for your board is, that board doesn't have a Marvell SATA controller. The SATA ports are connected to the H67 Platform Controller Hub, meaning they are all native Intel SATA ports, two of which are eSATA (red).

I have choosen the Marvell 9128 Controller because of the NCQ Trim Support. The Problem is, after installing the Marvell SATA 6G Drivers Station-Drivers (1.2.0.1049) Windows 10 detect´s the SSD as SCSI HDD. Is there a Solution ? With the Standard Microsoft AHCI Driver it detect´s the Crucial as SSD.

Jan 23, 2011 · Also, elsewhere on the web I discovered that some of the newer released BIOS for Gigabyte motherboards included updated firmware for the Marvell 9128 controller and to install it you have to sometimes make sure the BIOS setting for "GSATA_6+7 firmware" is on "Auto" so the latest BIOS firmware is loaded for the 9128.
