Oct 03, 2013 · Tested on: XP, Vista, 7 on Intel boards but should work fine for AMD boards and/or cards as well as it has nothing to do with graphics anyway. P.S. For new(er) gamers who have never played Max Payne 1 before, try not to laugh too much at the blocky models and animations. Remember, this was state-of-the-art 12 years ago.

Nov 27, 2009 · When I'm playing Max Payne 1 in Vista the music & dialogues during the cutscenes or graphic novel does not becomes active. But when I play the game from the same exe file in XP (I have both in dual boot mode), the game runs perfectly alright. I've tried to run the game in Windows XP SP2 cmpatibility mode in vista but to no effect. Please help me.
