    Jan 01, 2015 · Update MPLAB device support fro PICKit2? The standalone PICKit 2 app can be updated with new devices, but is it possible to do the same within MPLAB (8.92)? I tried copying the .dat file from the stand alon app into the MPLAB/PICKit 2 directory and I also tried editing the pk2.xml with the new device, neither of which work. Andrew

    Sep 04, 2012 · I have 8.73 installed; my PicKit 2 lists both versions of the '1825, but MPLAB IDE tells me the device is not supported by the PK2 and disconnects it.. Spent the morning digging in the 8.87 release notes (see below) trying to determine if <that> IDE supports the '1825 <AND> the PK2, with no luck. "Devices Supported.htm" seems to be the current disinformation.
