    Aug 22, 2011 · After that I could select "PPP MPPE compression (encryption)" inside "PPP support menu" (under Device Drivers -> Network device support. I also had to compile kernel with PPP filtering, because PPTP was complaining that ppp filtering wasn't supported by my current kernel. This was tricky .. I hope it will help someone in future.     Dec 26, 2007 · As far as I can tell from searching the web, MPPE should not even be involved (but I really don't know the protocol). If I setup a PPTP VPN on the same pair of machines all is well. I really think this is a bug in either Leopard or Leopard Server.
