For you AT&T customers out there, just a quick reminder that the Nexus S does not support the 850 MHz and 1900 MHz HSPA frequency bands required for 3G mobile data.

Dec 09, 2010 · slowly. The Nexus S doesn't support ATT 3g. Buying the phone on contract *shouldn't* be any different than buying it at full price. The Nexus S page says that it comes unlocked. That said, T-Mobile will still no doubt charge for tethering unless you change your user agent on your desktop.

Agree with everyone else that the only currently announced Nexus S is only for T-Mobile in the US and does not work on our 3G. There have been rumors of a possible Verizon CDMA version using their "4G" network sometime in Q1 2011, but it's still a very loose rumor. The T-Mobile 3G version is the only version that has been announced as of now.
